Job summary

Boeing Employees Credit Union is seeking a Sr. Manager, Technology - API Platform to lead enterprise API delivery and platform capabilities across channels.

You will manage engineering teams, drive agile practices, and align roadmaps with strategic priorities in a complex financial services environment. The role requires a strong background in API design, cloud technologies, and building scalable platforms, with remote and onsite collaboration across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of people leader experience in technology teams.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with API-driven or integration-focused architectures.
• Experience building technology platforms and teams with modern APIs, microservices, and cloud native services.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution for API platform outcomes, aligning with leadership priorities and architectural guardrails.
• Shape technology strategies and roadmaps that support business objectives and provide cost/benefit analyses.
• Identify innovative solutions by scanning the market and leading RFPs and business cases.
• Develop and coach teams to build a high-performing engineering culture.
• Lead engineering initiatives and oversee delivery teams for scalable, secure APIs built in C#/.NET on Azure.
• Champion Agile practices and continuous improvement across the program.
