Boeing Employees Credit Union is seeking a Sr. Manager, Technology - API Platform to lead API strategy and enterprise API delivery across channels. The role manages roadmaps, engineering teams, and agile practices to drive secure APIs and platform capabilities.

The position requires strategic thinking, governance participation, and collaboration with business units to align technology with objectives. Remote/hybrid engagement supported across approved locations.

Responsibilities

• Own Delivery & Execution for API Platform Outcomes: own delivery and execution for API platform outcomes, ensuring alignment to leadership direction, priorities, and architectural guardrails.
• Align Technology with Business Goals: shape technology strategies, create business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and roadmaps that support objectives.
• Identify Innovative Solutions: scan the market, lead RFPs, project charters, and business cases for innovation.
• Develop and Coach Teams: mentor, guide, and elevate your team with coaching and skill-building opportunities.
• Build High Impact Teams: foster a culture of quality, agility, and continuous learning, encouraging exploration of modern tech.
• Manage Technical Delivery: lead engineering initiatives, oversee requirements, and support cross-product delivery of scalable, secure APIs built in C#/.NET on Azure (GraphQL reads, REST writes).
• Champion Agile Practices: embed agile principles, streamline processes, align product and tech lifecycles.
• Drive Engineering Best Practices: improve quality across the lifecycle, API contracts, versioning, error handling, performance, backward compatibility.
• Align Roadmaps and Outcomes: connect technology with strategic and operational priorities.
• Engage in Governance & Planning: participate in governance forums and planning cycles.
• Support Annual Planning: contribute to operational plans and ensure financial planning for initiatives.
• Oversee Vendor Partnerships: review SOWs/contracts and guide external partners for value delivery.
• AI-Enabled Engineering: promote responsible AI-enabled tooling to improve productivity and outcomes.
