Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Android Developer for a remote contract engagement. You will lead design, development, and maintenance of core Android apps, mentor other engineers, and shape technical architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 8+ years of Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java are required.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and modern UI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Android applications and features.
• Own app architecture (MVVM/MVP/C Clean Architecture) and SOLID principles.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services.
• Profile performance, fix memory leaks, reduce crashes and ANRs, and write unit/instrumentation tests.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Google Play release processes.
