Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Health System Pharmacy Financial Performance to join our team. The role focuses on financial analysis and insights supporting specialty and health system pharmacy performance across finance, operations, contracting, and analytics.

The analyst delivers actionable recommendations, builds forecast and planning models, and presents executive-ready materials to drive reimbursement and margin improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with a master’s degree in financial analysis, healthcare finance, pharmacy finance, revenue integrity, financial planning and analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
• Experience interpreting financial statements and performing budget-to-actual, forecast, variance, margin, rate, volume, and mix analysis.
• Experience developing financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and executive-level financial reporting.
• Advanced experience using Excel to perform financial analysis (PivotTables, lookups, formulas, data validation, reconciliation, modeling).
• Experience communicating complex financial findings to operational and executive audiences.
• Experience with pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, health system pharmacy, or pharmacy claims (preferred).
• Experience with BI tools (QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, SAS or similar) (preferred).
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools (preferred).
• Adherence to compliance programs and collaborative, respectful teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial analyses and performance review materials for health system pharmacy business reviews; identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Analyze actual financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and benchmarks to explain variances and inform corrective action.
• Identify and explain drivers affecting prescription volume, revenue, reimbursement, COGS, gross margin, operating expenses, and net operating income.
• Independently identify emerging financial risks and opportunities; escalate significant risks when appropriate.
• Develop analytical approaches and perform drug-, payer-, clinic-, market-, disease-state-, claim-, and therapy-level analyses to explain performance.
• Analyze reimbursement and negative margin claims to identify opportunities to improve margin and reduce losses.
• Evaluate purchasing, inventory, replenishment, inflation, price, volume, and therapy-mix impacts on financial performance.
