Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior analytics leader to drive one or more Financial Crimes model analytics, monitoring optimization, and data strategy within the FIU AML/CTF program. You will guide model owners and analytics resources, and may evolve into formal people leadership as the function grows.

This role can be remote for the right candidate and requires ten years of SAS experience, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Analytical, project management and organizational skills with metrics, data, modeling.
• Ten years of SAS experience with large data problems and model testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Effective leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a high-stress, multi-location environment.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate analytics, reporting, and data insights to support decision-making.
• Advocate for data quality and governance in Financial Crimes.
• Build relationships with internal/external partners to achieve objectives.
• Maintain subject matter expertise for self and team.
• Provide materials for reviews by internal/external reviewers.
• Ensure procedures and docs align with enterprise standards.
• Lead special projects for Managing Director of Financial Crimes and GSS Director.
