Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced leader to head one or more Financial Crimes analytics and model initiatives focused on AML and CTF monitoring. You will drive strategy, oversee analysts, and partner across teams to implement data-driven monitoring solutions.

The role emphasizes senior SME leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and evolving into formal people leadership as the function grows. The position can be remote for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Analytical, project management and organizational skills with metrics, reporting, data, modelling or technology initiatives.
• Ten years of SAS experience with large data problems and model testing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with teammates in multiple locations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate analytics, reporting, or data insights to aid key decision-making and operations.
• Champion data quality and data management initiatives within Financial Crimes.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to achieve objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial crimes subject matter expertise for self and teammates.
• Provide support for reviews by internal and external bodies and manage issues.
• Ensure procedures and documentation follow enterprise standards.
• Manage special projects directed by leaders of Financial Crimes.
