Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a senior leader to direct the model analytics function within the Financial Crimes program. You will lead analytics initiatives, data quality efforts, and stakeholder collaborations to deliver actionable insights that support risk assessment and regulatory reporting.

The role demands strong SAS expertise, extensive leadership experience, and the ability to drive data-driven improvements across a multi-location team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of SAS experience with application to large data problems and relevant statistical procedures; ability to test, maintain, and monitor models.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to interact with all levels of management effectively.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with teammates in multiple geographic locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for financial crimes model analytics initiatives and data strategy.
• Develop, maintain and supervise monitoring, performance reporting, and change-management processes.
• Identify and recommend model, process, and/or technology changes to drive efficiency and control.
• Ensure delivery of accurate analytics and insights to aid decision-making.
• Be a steward of data quality and data management within Financial Crimes.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to achieve strategic objectives.
• Provide support for responding to internal and external reviewers of the Financial Crimes program.
