Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Senior Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems Specialist in a 12+ month contract. The role is 100% remote after onboarding onsite in New York City, with interviews held both remotely and onsite in NYC.

The specialist will provide production support for enterprise AMI platforms, including MDMS and HES, ensuring reliability, performance, and timely incident resolution. Ideal candidates will have hands-on AMI experience, MDMS expertise, Linux, SQL proficiency,

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting enterprise AMI systems in production.
Experience with EIP MDMS and meter data processing workflows.
Proficiency with Linux, SQL, and application troubleshooting.
Strong incident management, RCA, and production support capabilities.
Ability to write scripts and develop automation and monitoring.
Familiarity with Grafana for dashboards and observability.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical and production support for enterprise AMI applications (MDMS, HES) and integrations.
Monitor health of applications, meter data processing, and critical workflows.
Troubleshoot incidents, analyze logs, data flows, and root causes.
Develop monitoring dashboards, alerts, and diagnostic reports.
Support releases, upgrades, and deployments; participate in on-call rotation.
