Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build an AI vulnerability platform that discovers vulnerabilities in production code and proposes tested fixes across our cloud platform and endpoint agents.

This hands-on role covers agent orchestration, durable execution, and cost control, with hybrid remote options for US-based applicants. You will work with Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang, and Postgres to deliver scalable security software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production services or automation platforms
• Strong Python skills with asynchronous concurrency, typing, testing, packaging and profiling
• Experience building multi-step workflows with durable state, idempotent retries, queues and observability
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, evaluation and context management
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Working knowledge of application security and trust boundaries
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a production AI vulnerability platform with resumable workflows, bounded agent execution, model routing, and per-repository budgets across AWS Bedrock and OpenAI-compatible APIs
• Engineer repository context, threat models, and coverage tracking for agents to reason about entry points and code paths
• Build independent validation, stable finding identity, deduplication and secure judgments with evidence
• Develop patch and regression-test workflows with failing tests before fixes and human review before merging
• Protect agent execution with sandboxing, least-privilege access, and secure handling of content and credentials
• Partner with security and engineering teams to deliver findings through SARIF and existing workflows and measure quality and cost
• Other duties as needed
