Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build an AI platform that discovers vulnerabilities in production code, validates findings, and proposes fixes. You’ll own the software from design to production across a cloud service and endpoint agents.

You will work on agent orchestration, durable execution, context management, and cost control, enabling engineers to identify and fix vulnerabilities earlier with solid evidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production services or automation platforms.
• Strong Python skills, including asynchronous concurrency and testing.
• Experience building multi-step workflows with durable state and observability.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and trust boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a production AI vulnerability platform with resumable workflows and per-repository budgets.
• Engineer repository context, threat models, and coverage tracking for agents.
• Develop patch and regression‑test workflows with human review before merging.
• Protect agent execution with sandboxing and least-privilege access.
• Collaborate with security and engineering teams to deliver findings through SARIF and workflows.
