Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build an enterprise‑grade AI platform that identifies vulnerabilities in production code, validates findings against real attack paths, and proposes tested fixes. You will own design through production, focusing on agent orchestration, sandboxing, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with ownership of production services or automation platforms.
• Strong Python skills with asyncio, typing, testing and packaging.
• Experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, structured outputs, context management and evaluation.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS) and distributed systems knowledge.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, security concepts and trust boundaries.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and communicate decisions to teams and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a production AI vulnerability platform with resumable workflows and per‑repository budgets across AWS Bedrock and OpenAI‑compatible APIs.
• Engineer repository context, threat models, and coverage tracking for code paths and isolation.
• Develop patch and regression‑test workflows with failing tests before fixes and approvals before merging.
• Implement sandboxing and least‑privilege controls for agent execution and untrusted content.
• Collaborate with security and engineering to deliver findings through SARIF and existing workflows.
• Maintain scalable cloud and endpoint services and measure cost per validated finding.
