Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to design and scale real-time, AI-driven vulnerability management services across millions of endpoints. You will work on CVE correlation, remediation workflows, and high-throughput distributed systems to reduce mean time to remediate for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Java software development; Kotlin preferred.
• 4+ years building highly scalable software systems.
• Experience with large-scale systems and scaling solutions.
• Strong OO design and API development practices.
• Relational DB design and development experience.
• Knowledge of REST services using Jersey or Spring.
• Experience with caching and Redis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale backend services for vulnerability detection and remediation workflows.
• Contribute to high-availability, mission-critical software for millions of endpoints.
• Collaborate with product and detection teams to improve risk prioritization.
• Commit code and ship features in a fast-paced, startup environment.
