Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build an AI-powered vulnerability platform that discovers and validates vulnerabilities in production code. You will own software from design through production, focusing on scalable agent workflows, durable state, and evidence-backed findings.

You will work across vulnerability discovery and finding validation, partnering with Security Architecture and Product Engineering to improve a cloud platform and endpoint agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production services or automation platforms.
• Strong Python skills, including asynchronous concurrency, typing, testing, packaging, and profiling.
• Experience building multi‑step workflows with durable state, idempotent retries, task queues, and observability.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, tool calling, and evaluation; know when to use an agent framework.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a production AI vulnerability platform with resumable workflows and per‑repository budgets."
• Engineer repository context, threat models, and coverage tracking for code paths and trust boundaries.
• Develop patch and regression‑test workflows with failing tests before fixes and human review before merging.
• Protect agent execution with sandboxing, least‑privilege access, and secure handling of secrets.
• Collaborate with security and engineering to deliver findings through SARIF and existing workflows.
