Job summary

LTK is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead a team building foundational AI capabilities. You will shape the AI platform roadmap, create reusable models and services, and enable multiple teams to deploy AI effectively.

You will partner with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable production AI systems, with a focus on quality, scalability, and cost efficiency. Building a high-performing team is central to this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science or machine learning.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading data science or machine learning teams, including hiring, coaching, career development, and performance management.
• Experience shipping AI systems in production with quality, reliability, latency, and cost considerations.
• Strong experience building and operating AI evaluations (evals) and representative datasets.
• Experience building shared AI capabilities that multiple teams adopt and productionize.

Responsibilities

• Define AI platform roadmap and prioritize foundational investments.
• Lead production AI services deployment, monitoring, versioning, and operational readiness.
• Hire, coach, and develop the data science team; provide feedback and manage performance.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to enable adoption and easy integration of shared capabilities.
• Balance accuracy, latency, reliability, and operating cost in model and service decisions.
