Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to shape the architecture and delivery of AI-enabled products. This role collaborates with product and engineering teams to identify high-value use cases, guide roadmaps, and move initiatives from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in AI, Data Science, or Software Engineering roles.
• 2 years of experience in a senior or leadership position.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript in production environments.
• Experience with cloud-native systems (GCP, Azure, AWS) and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced knowledge of LLM-based application design and RAG architectures.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for AI products, including model selection and data retrieval strategies.
• Design and implement shared AI services and reusable coding practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI and ML teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI use cases and shape product roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional AI projects from concept to production, ensuring quality and reliability.
