Job summary

LTK is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering - Data Science to lead a team building foundational AI capabilities and production-ready services. You will define an AI platform roadmap, collaborate with engineering and product leaders, and drive scalable, measurable outcomes across search, recommendations, and catalog workflows.

You will manage a high-performing team, coach engineers, and ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency while delivering value to partner teams across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science or ML.
• 3+ years of direct people management leading data science teams.
• Experience shipping AI systems and owning their performance.
• Experience building shared AI capabilities and making them reusable.
• Strong foundation in ML, statistics, and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Build shared AI capabilities and reusable models, services, and tools.
• Shape the AI platform roadmap with engineering and product leadership.
• Enable internal teams with documentation and guidance for AI adoption.
• Deliver production-ready AI services with deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
• Lead evaluation infrastructure and data pipelines to ensure model quality.
• Manage cost, latency, and reliability in AI deployments.
• Own execution and outcomes by setting priorities and measuring platform adoption.
• Develop the team by hiring and coaching, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
