Job summary

LTK is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead a team building foundational AI capabilities. You will shape the AI platform roadmap and partner with engineering and product to deploy reusable AI services used across search, recommendations, catalog, and more.

You will mentor engineers and data scientists, drive performance, and ensure the team delivers reliable, scalable AI solutions with measurable impact and cost efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science or machine learning.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading data science or ML teams.
• Experience shipping AI systems and owning their performance in production.
• Strong experience building and operating AI evaluations (evals).
• Experience building shared AI capabilities used by multiple teams.
• Solid foundations in ML, statistics, and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive AI platform roadmap and capabilities.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and performance of the data science team.
• Partner with engineering and product to deliver production AI services.
• Ensure quality, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI systems.
• Develop and enforce evaluation tooling and datasets for AI progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable faster, better experiences.
