Job summary

Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting is seeking an experienced engineer to lead AI-directed development within a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on directing AI-enabled delivery, establishing quality standards, and owning delivery outcomes for production software.

The ideal candidate will review AI-generated code at scale, define evaluation frameworks, and ensure security, performance, and compliance across multiple product teams while maintaining engineering

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering, systems design, testing and architecture.
• Proven track record delivering and supporting production software.
• Experience using AI-assisted or autonomous development tools in real projects.
• Ability to review code thoroughly beyond automated checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-directed development across multiple workstreams.
• Review large volumes of AI-generated output for correctness, security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain evaluation suites to measure software quality.
