MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work with enterprise customers on Generative AI and AI-enabled software solutions. You will migrate legacy databases, modernize architectures, and integrate AI-driven capabilities while contributing to MongoDB’s AI strategy.

You will work remotely within the U.S. or at MongoDB North America offices, collaborating across engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering for enterprise clients.
• Engineering degree in CS, ML, Math, Network Eng, or EE.
• Strong AI/ML concepts and open-source tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Refactor applications and migrate legacy databases with MongoDB.
• Prototype AI-powered features using LLMs to improve workflows.
• Apply modern software practices, microservices, and automation.
• Influence AI strategy and product direction from customer insights.
