Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work with enterprise customers on Generative AI, LLMs, and modern app development. You’ll refactor apps, migrate legacy databases, and integrate AI-enabled functionality across customer platforms.

Based remotely anywhere in the U.S. or at a MongoDB North America office, you will help accelerate AI adoption, design scalable architectures, and influence MongoDB’s AI strategy while delivering tangible business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering for enterprise clients.
• Experience with Java, SQL and Python.
• Strong AI/ML knowledge and experience building AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Refactor applications and migrate legacy databases for enterprise customers.
• Prototype and build AI-powered features leveraging LLMs.
• Apply software engineering practices to accelerate AI adoption.
• Influence MongoDB’s AI roadmap with real-world insights.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams.
