Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, a Fortune 100 firm, seeks a Senior Actuary to join the Actuarial Enterprise Risk Management team. You will lead capital reporting, forecasting and risk management across NF products, with visibility to senior leaders.

Role emphasizes modeling, scenario updates, and collaboration across actuarial and business partners. This role can be performed fully remote, with strong communication and leadership required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or similar with modeling focus.
• FSA designation required or in progress; continuing education in capital modeling.
• 8+ years actuarial experience across pricing, valuation or reporting.
• Proficient with actuarial software (AXIS/MG-ALFA), Excel/VBA and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for data compilation, categorization and financial reporting.
• Lead pricing, projection and valuation model development and maintenance.
• Analyze risks and reinsurance; establish reserves under statutory, GAAP and tax regimes.
• Present findings to senior leaders and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
