Nationwide Financial is seeking a Senior Actuary to join its Actuarial Enterprise Risk Management team. This high-visibility role will support capital reporting, forecasting and risk management across a broad portfolio of insurance products.

The Senior Actuary will lead quarterly capital reporting, influence senior leaders, and drive projects that unlock Nationwide’s balance sheet while partnering with cross-functional teams to align models and assumptions.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or similar background requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis.
• FSA designation is preferred.
• Eight or more years of actuarial experience.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Office tools (including VBA, Excel, Tableau).

Mansioni

• Lead quarterly statutory capital reporting and forecasting, delivering accurate results and actionable insights.
• Support key strategic initiatives including reserving methodology changes and scenario generator updates.
• Partner with actuarial teams to align modeling approaches and assumptions impacting the forecast.
• Identify and implement process improvements for capital reporting and forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
• Present technical actuarial findings to senior leaders and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support enterprise priorities.
