Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform GAAP accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis in a remote setting. You will manage reconciliations, wire transfers, and support audits while ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of Oracle ERP. A strong communicator who can collaborate across departments is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of general accounting/finance experience required.
• Excel proficiency and knowledge of Oracle ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Handle internal and external wire transfers and month-end close analyses.
• Assist with audits and enforce internal controls and policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
