Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform GAAP-based accounting across ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements. Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience
• Three to five years of general accounting/finance experience required
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and knowledge of Oracle ERP accounting software preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in general ledger
• Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet account reconciliations
• Responsible for internal and external wire transfers
• Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for month-end close in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits
• Maintain financial controls and company policies
• Interact with other departments to resolve issues
• MLD division: record fair value adjustments and hedging entries, reconcile related accounts
• Vylla division: reconcile title-related revenue/expense and pass-through activity
