Job summary

Flourish Research is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our remote finance team. This role focuses on GAAP-compliant close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and budgeting support for clinical research projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, NetSuite proficiency, and the ability to interact with project managers and staff. We offer a competitive benefits package and a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in clinical research or related healthcare setting.
• Strong background in accounting and financial reconciliations.
• Experience with NetSuite and Office 365; proficient in Excel.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and support audits.
• Flexible, multitasker, and independent thinker.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review monthly closings, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Track project budgets and expenditures with audit documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and clinical staff to analyze financial data.
• Improve financial systems and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
• Review AP month-end entries for GAAP compliance.
• Account for year-end/month-end accruals.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction records.
• Participate in audits and regulatory reviews.
• Provide financial decision feedback to management.
• Represent Flourish Research professionally with staff, clients, vendors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
