Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform GAAP-based accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries. This role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and interacts with Treasury and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The Senior Accountant will work remotely from home with PST hours, leveraging Excel and Oracle ERP, and contribute to audits and internal control maintenance while providing insights across the

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of general accounting/finance experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Oracle ERP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statements.
• Responsible for internal and external wire transfers.
• Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for month-end close per US GAAP.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits.
• Maintain internal controls and company policies.
• Interact with other departments to resolve issues.
