Job summary

Celestica seeks a Senior Account Engineering Director to own the technical strategy and customer relationship for a high-revenue account in the Americas. You will align product roadmaps with the client’s business goals and supervise multi-site engineering teams.

Manage the SDLC for the account, drive AI/ML enablement, maintain KPIs, and handle executive escalations with transparency. Remote US-based role with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in complex software environments with at least 5+ years in customer-facing technical leadership.
• Deep hands-on experience in C/C++, Python, Linux kernel, and networking chipsets.
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage with C-suite stakeholders.
• Proven ability to translate client needs into scalable technical solutions while protecting margins.
• Experience leading global engineering teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor and executive partner for a key account.
• Co-author roadmaps and align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Escalation point for technical/operational issues; manage readouts.
• Lead global engineering teams; oversee SDLC and compliance.
• Drive AI/ML and emerging tech into customer architectures.
• Establish QA frameworks and KPIs; monitor risks.
