Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking a Director of Sales Engineering to serve as the primary technical resource for the Northeast U.S. account management team, focusing on AI-driven data center solutions.

The role encompasses pre-sales and post-sales support, technical demonstrations, and high-stakes customer engagements, with remote work and travel as needed. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in storage/compute node design and requirements discovery.
• Deep experience with storage systems and network transport for storage environments (RoCE, NVMe-oF, Ethernet).
• Experience with AI-optimized storage architectures and data feeding for high-performance compute.
• Familiarity with software defined storage OS such as VAST Data, Xinnor, Hammerspace, Weka, Qumulo, or similar.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for customer briefings and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Managers to drive the sales process and achieve quota objectives for AI storage and networking portfolios.
• Lead technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs.
• Develop and deliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations for use cases, including PoC activities.
• Represent AI storage and networking solutions at major field events and customer days.
• Translate technical requirements to Product Management and Technology teams.
