Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client-support for the account team, reporting to AM/AE/Producer. You will renew policies, process endorsements, and help prepare submissions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong MS Office skills, and a proactive, service-minded approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistants.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Assist with client research, underwriting information, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver service excellence and anticipate needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek improvements to team performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
