Job summary

Insurance Office of America is hiring a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support for the account team. You will work under supervision to ensure renewals, endorsements, and submissions are accurate and timely while maintaining high service standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, strong communication skills, and knowledge of brokerage processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, lost policy releases, invoices, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business with client research, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status to the account team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
