Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. You will work under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer, ensuring renewals, policy management, and accurate data in agency systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle complex tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support and Account Assistants.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and other policy changes.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting info, prepare submissions, and bind coverages.
• Review contracts to confirm proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and transparent communication within the team.
• Deliver service excellence and uphold IOA values.
