Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative and client service duties under the guidance of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer.

This role focuses on policy management, renewals, submissions, and ensuring accuracy across carrier platforms, with opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of customer service in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information and prepare submissions.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
