Qualifications

• Must obtain Alaska Guard License before starting work ($97).
• State of Alaska Armed Guard License required upon hire.
• Must qualify for certifications such as TWIC, ATF Explosive Possessor card, etc.
• English proficiency; able to read/write/speak.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and contract-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors assigned buildings, areas, or grounds.
• Permits entry only to properly authorized individuals.
• Inspects doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Records data such as incidents and property damage.
• Responds to emergencies and assists in safety procedures.
• Operates camp billeting and access control systems; tracks visitors.
• Complies with safety and sanitation standards; follows company and client guidelines.
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
