Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Security Sales Specialist to coordinate and strategize on assigned key account(s) within the United States, including national remote work. You will identify security services opportunities, develop account plans, forecast revenue, and drive cross-sell and up-sell initiatives across SASE, DDoS, Threat Intelligence, and managed services.

Qualifications

Experience in Security Sales and/or Information Technology (6+ years).
Driver’s license may be required.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales.
Strong communication and ability to close sales.
Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning.

Responsibilities

Delivers intelligent contact routing based on NLU and agent skills, AI-driven communications, and cross-functional strategy.
Maintains relationships with key departments and customers to grow revenue.
Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase total spend.
Expands knowledge of new technologies and the company product suite.
Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing or new accounts.
