Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Sales Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging security challenges with Cisco’s portfolio.

You will partner with Account Managers to scope requirements, deliver technical presentations, demos, and POCs, and design security architectures across Network, Cloud, Endpoint, and Security Operations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in technical sales or systems engineering in cybersecurity, with relevant certifications and a CS/engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, systems engineering, or technical customer-facing role within the cybersecurity domain.
• Experience applying security principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN).
• Experience designing and implementing complex security architectures.
• Experience performing technical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor bridging security challenges with Cisco’s portfolio.
• Partner with Account Managers to execute strategic sales plans and conduct technical discovery sessions.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and POCs to highlight Cisco Security solutions.
