Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilledTechnical Sales Engineer to act as a trusted advisor for Cisco Security solutions and to collaborate with Account Managers on strategic sales plans.

You will lead technical discovery, deliver compelling demos and proofs-of-concept, and architect security solutions spanning Network, Cloud, Endpoint and Security Operations while staying ahead of evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 3+ years in technical sales, SE, or customer-facing cybersecurity roles.
• Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN.
• Designing and implementing complex security architectures.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCIE Security, CCNP Security or equivalent.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Consultative selling with long-term customer relationships.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud security platforms.
• Familiarity with SaaS security models.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of threats.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor for Cisco Security solutions.
• Partner with Account Managers to execute strategic sales plans.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify pain points and define business requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept.
• Design and architect comprehensive security solutions across Network, Cloud, Endpoint, and Security Operations.
• Provide technical expertise from initial engagement through deployment.
• Maintain knowledge of the evolving threat landscape.
• Provide proactive cybersecurity counsel to customers.
• Support customers onsite as needed.
