DoorDash USA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Proactive Security - Platform to build and operate secure, scalable paths for privileged access and secrets management across our global infrastructure. You will create self-service tooling, SDKs, Terraform modules and integrate with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP) to reduce exposure and accelerate secure engineering practices.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience as Software/Infrastructure/Security Platform Engineer at an internet-scale org.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go (or Kotlin, Java, Python).
• Hands-on experience building or operating access management and secret storage systems (Teleport/Vault).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, replication and consensus (Raft/Paxos).
• Knowledge of identity standards such as OIDC, SAML, mTLS; workload identity (SPIFFE, AWS/GCP IAM).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate paved paths for privileged access, secrets management and identity.
• Build self-service tooling, SDKs, Terraform modules and integrations for just-in-time access and dynamic secrets.
• Design and operate highly available distributed systems underpinning tier-0 services.
• Drive migrations off long-lived credentials and standing access.
• Collaborate with Infra, Compute, Data and product teams to integrate paths into Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS and GCP.
• Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation and improve operational excellence.
• Enable secure adoption of AI tooling through access control and secrets brokering.
