Job summary

Optiv Security Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor (SA) who will work remotely and serve clients across the United States, with potential hires near Houston, Dallas, St. Louis, or Minneapolis.

The SA combines sales skills with deep security practitioner knowledge to design secure networking and cloud security programs aligned to client goals. The role requires five or more years in information security, strong communication, and the ability to partner with sales, service delivery, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer responsible for planning, building, and running secure Network, OT, and Cloud environments.
• Experience with Network, OT, and Cloud Security technology partners across key areas (firewalls, segmentation, ZTNA, SASE, CNAPP, WAF, DDoS protection, load balancing, posture management).
• Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills for client interactions and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design security solutions tailored to clients' environments.
• Advise and design Secure Networking (Cloud/Network/SASE/OT) security programs.
• Collaborate with sales and service delivery to ensure value and alignment with client goals.
• Lead technology-focused discussions and assist in finalization of sales.
