Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. in Houston, TX seeks a SCADA Engineer – Level 2 to design, develop, and deploy SCADA systems for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects. You will work with SCADA programming, industrial protocols, IT networks, and cybersecurity under senior engineers.

This full-time role reports to the Director of SME and allows remote work while located in Houston. Travel up to 30% may be required. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SCADA, control systems, or IT networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with programming relays and control devices; SCADA systems and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850); IT networks and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on programming of relays and control devices for plant automation.
• Configure and troubleshoot SCADA protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
• Assist in SCADA system architecture planning, integration, and cybersecurity.
• Work with IT networks and cybersecurity principles to ensure SCADA security compliance.
• Assist in SCADA system documentation and regulatory compliance.
