The SCADA Engineer Level 2 at Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) supports SCADA system design, development, and deployment for utility‑scale solar PV and BESS projects. This role requires hands‑on experience with SCADA programming, industrial protocols, IT networks, and cybersecurity.

The Engineer Level 2 will work closely with senior engineers to configure and troubleshoot SCADA systems, ensuring reliable plant operation and secure data communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in SCADA, control systems, or IT networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on with programming relays and control devices.
• SCADA systems and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
• IT networks and cybersecurity principles.
• Electrical generation and control systems for utility-scale solar or BESS projects.
• Intermediate proficiency in Visio or similar tools.
• CCNA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• SCADA System Development & Integration: hands-on programming relays and configuring SCADA protocols.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity implementation for SCADA systems.
• Support site commissioning, FAT, and remote troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with EPC contractors, vendors, and utilities on SCADA project delivery.
• Produce network diagrams, system configurations, and cybersecurity guidelines.
