Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer who will lead SCADA engineering work for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote or hybrid and involves substantial responsibility in project documentation, technical support, and team collaboration.

Successful candidates will have significant experience in SCADA engineering, coupled with strong programming knowledge and excellent communication skills. A degree in engineering is preferred, and a range of benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan is available.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy projects.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering.
• Ability to work with sub-contractors and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA monitoring and control systems for renewable energy projects.
• Define and implement SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with customers for on-site commissioning support.

Skills

Advanced working knowledge of programming languages

Advanced working knowledge of Ignition SCADA platform

Excellent communication skills

Education

Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering
