Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) seeks a SCADA Engineer Level 3 to design, integrate, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for utility-scale PV and BESS projects. You will program relays, configure networks, and ensure secure, reliable operations across remote sites.

Based in the United States with up to 30% travel, the role reports to the Sr SCADA and Controls Engineering Manager and requires 4+ years in SCADA or related fields plus a BS in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in SCADA, control systems, or IT networking.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering; master's preferred.
• Proficiency in programming relays and control devices.
• SCADA systems and protocols: Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850.
• IT networks and cybersecurity principles; Visio proficiency; SCADA or automation certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA system architecture, configuration, and programming for large-scale PV and BESS assets.
• Perform relay and control device programming to optimize plant performance.
• Implement SCADA communication protocols for data transfer.
• Develop network security measures and cybersecurity compliance strategies.
• Oversee SCADA documentation and support FAT and site commissioning.
