Job summary

The Mom Project is seeking a part-time attorney admitted to the South Carolina Bar to handle foreclosure matters remotely within South Carolina with travel for in-person hearings as required. The role requires at least five years of experience in foreclosure litigation and the ability to attend hearings across the state.

Applicants should reside in SC (Columbia/Florence/Charleston preferred) and be able to work 20–25 hours weekly, with flexibility for more.

Qualifications

• Must have South Carolina Bar Admission.
• Minimum five years’ experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Experience in uncontested and contested foreclosure litigation is required.
• Remote work in SC but attend in-person hearings as needed.
• Reside in South Carolina; preference for Columbia/Florence/Charleston area.
• Part-time schedule; 20–25 hours per week; firm must be primary employer.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials and other duties.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints, motions and final judgments.
• Conduct legal research.
• Provide legal analyses and communicate with clients.
• Deliver high-quality client service and effective legal representation.
