Job summary

The Mom Project seeks a part-time foreclosure litigation attorney licensed in South Carolina to represent clients at hearings and trials across the state. Remote work is allowed within SC, with travel for in-person court appearances as required.

Must have a minimum of five years’ experience, strong research and drafting skills, and the ability to manage cases with a flexible schedule. Preference for candidates near Columbia, Florence or Charleston.

Qualifications

• SC Bar Admission required.
• Minimum five years of experience.
• Experience in foreclosure litigation (contested/uncontested).
• Residence in South Carolina (prefer near Columbia/Florence/Charleston).
• Remote work possible but must attend in-person hearings statewide.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials and related duties.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis.
• Communicate case matters and provide excellent client service.
