Job summary

The Mom Project is seeking a part-time, remote-eligible attorney licensed in South Carolina to represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials across the state. This role requires travel to in-person court hearings and a commitment to upholding strong client service while working from home within SC.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years of foreclosure litigation experience, SC Bar admission (other state admissions a plus), and familiarity with contested and uncontested

Qualifications

• SC bar admission required.
• Other state bar admissions considered a plus.
• Minimum five years’ experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Experience in both contested and uncontested matters.
• Desirable circuit court/master in equity trial experience.
• Reside in South Carolina (Columbia/Florence/Charleston preferred).
• Remote role but must attend in-person hearings across the state.
• Flexible schedule; 20–25 hours per week.
• Part-time position; firm must be primary employer.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials, and related duties.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence, and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints, motions, and judgments.
• Conduct legal research.
• Provide legal analysis and communicate with clients about case matters.
• Deliver strong customer service and legal representation to stakeholders.
