Job summary

Aldridge Pite, LLP seeks a South Carolina Foreclosure Attorney to handle contested and uncontested foreclosure litigation, with some bankruptcy and evictions matters. This is a remote role with occasional in-person court appearances across the state.

Requirements include a JD, SC Bar admission, at least five years of foreclosure litigation experience, residency in SC, and ability to attend hearings. Part-time schedule with home-office setup; remote work must still meet court attendance as needed.

Qualifications

• JD required; licensed to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum five years’ experience in foreclosure litigation.
• Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar.
• In-state residency in South Carolina; preference for near Columbia/Florence/Charleston.
• Remote role with ability to attend in-person court hearings statewide.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at mediations, hearings, trials, and other duties as assigned.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, correspondence and motions.
• Analyze and review complaints and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research.
• Provide legal analysis and communicate with clients regarding case matters.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and legal representation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Other duties and special projects as needed.
