Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a remote SBA Loan Support Specialist in the United States to support SBA loan servicing operations, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will process, maintain, and administer SBA loan accounts while coordinating with internal and external partners to resolve servicing issues across the loan lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent with 4 years' experience in Support, Operations, or Customer Service.
Experience with SBA loan servicing processes is preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

Maintain and service SBA and commercial loan accounts throughout the loan lifecycle including booking, maintenance, modifications, payoffs, and terminations in compliance with bank and SBA requirements.
Process operational transactions related to loan servicing, research discrepancies, resolve exceptions, and respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal partners.
Serve as a subject matter expert for SBA servicing processes, system applications, and procedures; assist with troubleshooting and training of associates.
Handle loan modifications, assumptions, deferments, and servicing actions; update SBA loan information in internal systems; reconcile general ledger accounts.
