Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an SBA Loan Support Specialist for a remote role available to candidates in NC, AZ, TX, GA, FL or SC. You will handle servicing, maintenance, and administration of SBA loan accounts, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service while coordinating with internal and external partners.

You will act as a subject matter expert for SBA processes, assist with troubleshooting, and support loan lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or GED with 4+ years in support, operations or customer service.
• Experience servicing SBA loans and knowledge of SBA guidelines is preferred.
• Proficiency with loan servicing systems and Excel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service SBA and commercial loan accounts through the loan lifecycle.
• Process operational transactions, research discrepancies, and respond to inquiries.
• Provide high-quality customer and partner support within service levels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for SBA servicing processes and systems.
• Process loan modifications, assumptions, deferments, and servicing actions; reconcile general ledger accounts.
