Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the workstream, align processes with metering and field operations, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure quality, integration, testing, deployment, and readiness.

You will lead functional teams, drive workshops, define design, and manage dependencies across Billing, Customer Service, Data Conversion, and other streams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and SAP IS-U experience.
• 4–6 years in SAP IS-U or utilities with 3+ years leading a workstream.
• Proven design and delivery ownership through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS/EDM and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream end-to-end.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service.
• Lead requirements, fit-gap analysis, solution workshops and reviews.
• Drive end-to-end SAPIS-U integrations with AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS and mobile tools.
• Oversee device/workflow processes and operational handoffs.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and project risks.
• Develop functional specifications and design decisions for quality.
• Coach consultants and coordinate vendor teams.
• Lead testing and defect resolution for meter-to-cash processes.
