Job summary

Newhouse Project Consulting seeks a Salesforce Change Manager to guide people-centric adoption of a Salesforce implementation, focusing on readiness, communications, and stakeholder engagement. This contract role emphasizes transforming users from “new system” to “new way of working” through practical messaging and targeted training.

You will partner with business and IT teams, assess impacts, plan change activities, and support ongoing adoption across projects with remote or hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations or major enterprise technology changes.
• Strong change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work with both technical teams and business users.
• Experience developing change plans, readiness materials, training support, and adoption strategies.
• Utility, field operations, construction, or corporate transformation experience is a plus, not mandatory
• Prosci, ACMP, or other change management certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Support change management strategy and execution for a Salesforce implementation
• Partner with business leaders, project teams, and end users to understand impacts and adoption needs
• Develop change impact assessments, stakeholder plans, communications, and readiness materials
• Support training coordination and reinforcement activities
• Help identify resistance, adoption risks, and opportunities to improve user readiness
• Translate technical changes into clear, practical messaging for business users
• Track adoption feedback and help drive continuous improvement
